Recycling Tips

At G&P Junk Removal, we feel that recycling is very important, and always do our best to promote recycling within our business, as well as without. Therefore we have come up with a few simple tips to help you recycle more at home, at work, or wherever else you may be!
Recycling Routine: most supermarkets now have recycling banks, making it simple for you to add recycling to your weekly routine. Every time you go to the supermarket, take your empty glass bottles, jars and other similar items, and it will soon become second nature.
Bathroom Items: many people forget about bathroom items when it comes to recycling. Shampoo and conditioner bottles are recyclable, and you can even rinse them out whilst you are showering to save time. The cardboard tubes from toilet paper rolls are also something to remember!
Recycling Centre: set up recycling bins in your kitchen, right next to your waste bin, to make things easier. You can even get plastic bins with a section for waste and a section for recycling!
Leave Labels: you no longer need to worry about removing labels and stickers from jars and bottles; they will come off in the recycling process.
Re-use: everything that you can find another use for, do it! This is especially important for those types of plastic that cannot be recycled (check the bottom of the item to find out.)
